YANGON – BAGO - KYAIKHTIYO

Warmly welcome by our hospitable English Speaking guide at the airport. After meeting with guide, we’ll drive to restaurant for dinner. Then check-in and overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, our guide will pick you up at hotel at 8:00am. We’ll straightly drive to Bago (approximately 2hr drive). Stop at the landmark of Bago, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, 114 meters tall pagoda is 15 meters taller than Shwedagon Pagoda. Visit Shwe Tha Lyaung Pagoda, 180 feet tall reclining Buddha. Hintha hilltop. Must-see destination in Bago is Kanbawzathardi Palace built in 1556 for King Bayintnaung. Lunch and dinner at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll transfer to hotel in Kyaikhto. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning drive uphill to the Kimpun base camp of the famous Kyaikhto mountain. On arrival, join the truck to get to the top of the mountain. On route, you can see the green and peaceful mountain and forest. The pagoda is mysterious with how it exists. Situated at an elevation of 115kms, experience the charming and beautiful “Golden Rock” where Buddhists unexceptionally believe the hair relic of Buddha was enshrined. Lunch at the local restaurant. Then we’ll drive back to Yangon (Approximately 4hrs). enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda. Enjoy your dinner with local cuisines. Overnight at the hotel.

Check out from hotel to Botataung Pagoda. Wander around the pagoda, where traditionally believe the hair relic of Buddha was enshrined brought by merchant brothers and welcome by with thousands of soldiers. Then stroll around the Scott Market for some souvenirs from needle to handicraft. Local set menu lunch is served at restaurant. Then we’ll transfer to the airport to catch you international flight.
