Bangkok's multi-faceted sights, attractions and city life appeal to diverse groups of tourists. Royal palaces and temples as well as several museums constitute its major historical and cultural tourist attractions. Shopping and dining experiences offer a wide range of choices and prices. The city is also famous for its dynamic nightlife.
Khao San Road is lined by budget accommodation, shops and bars catering to tourists.
Among Bangkok's well-known sights are the Grand Palace and major Buddhist temples, including Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. The Giant Swing and Erawan Shrine demonstrate Hinduism's deep-rooted influence in Thai culture. Vimanmek Mansion in Dusit Palace is famous as the world's largest teak building, while the Jim Thompson House provides an example of traditional Thai architecture. Other major museums include the Bangkok National Museum and the Royal Barge National Museum. Cruises and boat trips on the Chao Phraya and Thonburi's canals offer views of some of the city's traditional architecture and ways of life on the waterfront.
Shopping venues, many of which are popular with both tourists and locals, range from the shopping centres and department stores concentrated in Siam and Ratchaprasong to the sprawling Chatuchak Weekend Market. Taling Chan Floating Market is among the few such markets in Bangkok. Yaowarat is known for its shops as well as street-side food stalls and restaurants, which are also found throughout the city. Khao San Road has long been famous as a destination for backpacker tourism, with its budget accommodation, shops and bars attracting visitors from all over the world.

Thailand’s most valued temple features the magnificent Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century, regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. Continue to visit Safari World - 170 acre park offers many opportunities for fun and excitement as getting close to wild animals roaming free or see others performing tricks. The main attraction is as the name says traveling through the open spaces where wild animals can be seen in their natural habitat from the windows of a tour coach. On the way you will have close encounters with rare and endangered species. One highlight you should not miss is feeding time for the lions and tigers. It will send a chill down your spine. After lunch, proceed to Pattaya – the famous tourist city of Thailand. Upon arrival in Pattaya, transfer to 3-star hotel. Dinner and free for exploring Pattaya.
Breakfast at hotel. Get on speedboat and depart for Coral Island - the largest of Pattaya's archipelago which covers an area of about 4 km2 with the beautiful and clear water beaches, here you can spend the day viewing abundant coral reefs and colourful underwater world from the glass-bottom boat, scuba diving, windsurfing, skiing, para-sailing, swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing on the flour-like sandy beaches. At arrival, free for bathing and enjoying water games on the beach (self-paid). After lunch, visit Blood Swallow Center and the cultural Nong Nooch Village - a fascinating tourist destination with classical dancers, traditional ceremonies, Thai boxing, cockfights and a spectacular elephant show. Dinner and enjoy Tiffany’s show before back to hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Bangkok. On the way, visit Snake Farm and The biggest Leather Center in Bangkok. After lunch check-in hotel and free for shopping. No dinner included.
Visit The Golden Buddha - the world's largest golden seated Buddha measuring nearly five metres in height and weighing five and a half tons, and believed to be 700 to 800 years old. Visit Jewelry Center.
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the world-biggest Crocodile Farm with more than 60.000 crocodiles. Depart for Suvarnabhumi Airport for flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the trip.
