Situated between the Tien and the Hau rivers, Vinh Long Province is bounded by Tien Giang Province on the north, Dong Thap Province on the north-west, Tra Vinh Province on the south-east, Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces on the south, and Can Tho City on the south-west.
Coming to there, visitors have chance to walk among the trees, relax in hammocks, try all kinds of delicious tropical fruits in the gardens of An Binh and Binh Hoa Phuoc islands. Several popular places are Mr. Sau Giao’s Flower Garden, Mr. Muoi Day’s Stilt-House, and Mr. Hai Hoang’s Old House.

After 3 hours drive from Saigon, 136 km, Vinh Long – a town of Mekong delta lying between the Tien and Hau rivers.
A boat trip takes tourists to Cai Be floating market where the sellers and buyers are bargaining and exchanging goods from their boats. Visit to coconut candy workshop, popcorn, pop rice village. Keep travelling to Vinh Long province by boat, going through the canals with tropical fruit garden. You will have a good chance to mingle with local peasants, learn the secrets of their Bonsai gardening on the way.
Around 12:00PM lunch is served at a restaurant by the river and enjoying Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) at the same time. After lunch, taking a boat ride along the Mekong river to Vinh Long - the center of tropical fruits in the Mekong Delta and stopping for a short visit at Vinh Long market. Then, going across the My Thuan suspension bridge and taking a short break at Mekong Rest Stop & returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
