My Tho is located on the northern banks of the Mekong river and is the closest town in the Delta area to Ho Chi Minh City, about 2 hours drive away. In the centre of the town close to the river there is a large market that sells just about anything that can be eaten or is used in day to day business.
Around the My Tho area you will find a maze of small canals that can be explored on one of the many organised boat tours. You can book the tours in My Tho or book a day trip from Ho Chi Minh City. Other places to visit are the longan plantations on Dragon Island and the Dong Tam Snake Farm.
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International airport. You will be welcomed by our guide & transferred to hotel for checking in. Then, take the orientation tour of Saigon – highlights will be: Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post office, City Hall, Opera house, China town and stop at Thien Hau temple. Dinner at a famous Vietnamese Restaurant. O/n in Saigon.

Take a day trip to Mekong region, the area of agriculture products and fish. Boat cruise to visit the Thai Son island to enjoy all kinds of tropical fruit in this area then walk through the handicraft village and also visit some of the local farm houses. Lunch at local restaurant. Return Saigon. Dinner provided on Saigon cruise with live show entertainment.
